Naturelovers offers nature-based education and unstructured play opportunities for children and adults at many locations across Melbourne. These locations vary from local public parks to beaches and bushland reserves, many of which are rugged, with uneven ground, trip hazards, and a wide range of native and non-native flora and fauna. By making a booking request or enrolling your child in the Naturelovers™ Afterschool Program, you consent to you or your child’s participation in recreational activities in bush and outdoor locations and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
You understand and acknowledge that you are fully aware of, and assume, the risks (including but not limited to snake bites, insect and scorpion stings, falls, scratches, serious bodily injury, and property loss or damage) associated with you or your child’s participation in the Naturelovers Afterschool Program. You acknowledge and accept that it is your responsibility to ensure that you and your child participate only in activities for which you and your child have the necessary skills, training, and physical capability. Your child will be supervised by adults with current Working With Children Checks, at a ratio of one adult to seven or fewer children, with the lead facilitator trained in First Aid Level 2 and Forest School principles. You agree that you will follow (and ensure your child follows) the safety guidelines provided by Naturelovers and the supervising adult leaders.
You understand that while we always endeavour to maintain a safe environment for children and families participating in our programs, we are not responsible for medical treatment costs or related expenses if you or your child are injured. You further understand and agree that we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Knowing the risks described above, you agree, personally and on behalf of your child, to assume all risks and responsibilities associated with participation in the Naturelovers Afterschool Program.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Naturelovers, its officers, directors, staff, volunteers, employees, and agents from any present or future claim, cause of action, loss, or liability for injury to persons or property which you or your child may suffer, or for which you or your child may be liable to any other person, arising from participation in recreational activities operated by Naturelovers, regardless of cause and irrespective of fault.
You warrant that you are at least eighteen years of age, that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child you have enrolled, and that you will be the parent or legal guardian responsible for your child’s participation in the Naturelovers Afterschool Program. You understand and agree that no oral or written representations can alter the contents of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Naturelovers (ABN 87 844 522 119), and references to “child” include the plural where more than one child is enrolled.
Cancellation Policy
To enable sessions to run smoothly and with minimal disruption to the group and facilitator, we offer no refunds for the Naturelovers Afterschool Program or related events unless your booked session is cancelled by Naturelovers.
